Best Paris Photo and Video Locations
Chasen and I had the pleasure of visiting Paris in March with the Britt Jones Curated Conference to shoot a series of editorials with a very talented group of professionals. We scouted the top locations in and around Paris for the best photo and video shoots. The outcome was hundreds of photos and loads of video that have me editing with a smile on my face every single time. I am overjoyed to say that British Vogue has published three images from this Parisian gallery in their April, May, and June 2022 issues.
I’ve compiled photos and video we shot in six of the most iconic and beautiful locations for photos and videos in the City of Light. Do you know an ideal location that I haven’t listed? Tell me in the comments! I’m always ready for the scoop on the best photoshoot locations in Paris!
The Ritz Paris is a luxurious getaway no matter where you look, so shooting in this suite with the window view put it over the top for us. There are also dozens of beautiful places on the property to shoot. You can see our full gallery here.
You might recognize this iconic bridge with its steel arches and pedestrian walkway in the middle. If you stand in the walkway and shoot towards the tower, you get a beautiful view of the Eiffel Tower across the water. You can also shoot under the arches of the bridge for another striking perspective. See the full gallery here!
What’s not to love about gilded statues, the Seine River, and your own romantic boat ride? This portion of the shoot was captured mid-day, and the river was a fun departure from the crowds that start to gather in the afternoons. The crew of the Seine Privee provided champagne and sweets, which makes this experience even better. The Pont Alexandre III is one of several beautiful bridges in Paris. This one has the stately limestone stairs seen in the photos, perfect for a romantic photo shoot. You can see our full photo gallery here!
There’s something so inspiring about creating your own art at the world’s most famous art museum. The grounds of The Louvre are full of breeze ways, arches, and architecture that provide backdrops galore. You would be surprised at how the crowds don’t impede your photos too much. The area is so large you can spread out and shoot where the crowds are thinner. View the full gallery here!
This is a hidden little gem near the Trocadero. It’s a place frequented by photographers, so you’ll want to be sure to provide a little extra time in case you need to share the space with others. It’s a small area, so you’ll want to be able to have it all to yourself if possible. I love how the Avenue de Camoens feels cozy and enchanted, like a special private window to Paris.
My number one pick for best Paris photo and video locations isn’t actually in Paris, but it’s close! Chateau de Villette is located in Condécourt, France, 40 min northwest of Paris. It’s well worth the short drive, for obvious reasons. The same architect who created Versailles oversaw the completion of the Chateau. Its interior is exquisitely designed and decorated, and its exterior is nothing short of spectacular. We shot so many photos and videos at the Chateau that we have separated them into two galleries. In all my travels, I have yet to find a place with quite so many iconic locations for a photo and video shoot. Not only are the places I’ve mentioned fabulous, but there is such a variety of looks to find. Paris can give a soft, romantic, private vibe. Or, if you’re looking, you can find plenty of hip, edgy places to shoot. No matter where you are in Paris, be ready for a photo op!

“She helped me throughout the entire engagement, even when I had questions that didn't have to do with videography! I worried about NOTHING my wedding day because she spent time laying out the day and made sure it was flawless, making sure I felt confident in everything! Most importantly, I felt like I came out of the engagement and wedding day with a new friend. If "infinite stars" was a choice, I would choose it - but I guess I'll settle with 5!!!”
"Not only is Leslee a joy to work with, she is extremely professional, and one of the kindest people I know!"

"I've got nothing but compliments on the video, and I have nothing but compliments about her professionalism and kindness! She is the absolute sweetest person you will ever meet, and constantly strives to make your day perfect and meet your needs. I SO HIGHLY recommend Leslee for your videographer!”
"After one "get to know you" phone call, we were already good friends and I knew she'd do a great job!"

"On my wedding day, I was worried it may be awkward having someone I don't know in the room while I was getting ready, but it was the complete opposite of that. She fit right in and was actually a really calming presence to have around. When we got our video, I watched it immediately over and over again and couldn't stop crying. It was so beautifully put together. We got SO many compliments on it. My brother didn't even cry when his own children were born and he teared up watching our wedding video!! That's how good Leslee is!”
"I don't even have the words to say how amazing Leslee is!"

“She is insanely talented and was able to create a film that highlighted all of our favorite moments throughout the day and included all of our favorite people. I am so grateful that we chose Leslee as our videographer, and I couldn't recommend her enough. She has such a warm and calming presence and was so so sweet to work with.”
"After seeing our film and working with Leslee it was truly like she had known us for years"
