One of my favorite things about engagement sessions is that they’re not just about getting pretty pictures—they’re about telling your story. The place you choose sets the whole vibe for your photos. Whether you’re going for dreamy, romantic, fun, or cozy, Tulsa has some absolutely beautiful spots that will make your engagement session feel like you.
Here are some of my top recommendations if you’re thinking of doing your engagement session in Tulsa:
If you’re dreaming of elegant gardens, grand architecture, and a little fairytale moment, Philbrook is a total gem. The outdoor spaces are absolutely magical, especially in the spring and summer. You do need a permit and to book ahead, but it’s 1000% worth it for those timeless, romantic vibes.
This place is a classic for a reason! It’s full of blooming flowers, big shady trees, and peaceful little corners. It’s simple, beautiful, and perfect if you want nature without going too far from the city. Bonus: it’s super affordable to shoot there with a small permit.
Elegant and charming, this historic mansion is tucked inside Woodward Park and offers a gorgeous mix of classic architecture and natural beauty. Think stone steps, ivy walls, and blooming gardens all around. It feels intimate and timeless—the perfect place for love stories that feel a little old-fashioned in the best way.
(You’ll need to pay for a permit, but it’s so worth it.)
If you’re a city-loving couple, downtown is full of character—art deco buildings, murals, and charming alleys. We can do classy rooftop shots or cozy street-side moments. There’s something about the contrast of your love against the buzz of the city that feels so alive.
Okay, if you’re into vintage glam, The Mayo is stunning. The marble staircase, the chandeliers, the rooftop—it’s all next-level romantic. This is the kind of place where you dress up and feel like you’re starring in an old Hollywood movie together.
Right next to downtown, this park gives you the best of both worlds—green space and skyline views. The water features and landscaping make for dreamy backgrounds, and the city just behind you adds a fun little sparkle to your photos.
This park is like a little world of its own. We can walk through wooded trails, shoot by the river, or find some modern architecture for a fun twist. It’s perfect if you want a playful, romantic session that shows off your personalities.
Classy, cute, and a little unexpected. This outdoor shopping area has twinkle lights, fountains, and beautiful greenery. It’s especially pretty in the spring or around the holidays when everything’s decorated.
Located just outside of Tulsa in Jenks, this farm has a laid-back, rustic charm. Think wide open fields, tall grass, a vintage truck, and golden hour light that hits just right. It’s peaceful, pretty, and perfect if you want that natural, country vibe.
Sometimes the most meaningful place is where you live your everyday love story. Whether you’re baking together, cuddling on the couch, or dancing in your kitchen, home sessions feel so real and cozy—and they capture the magic of your life as it is.
If you had your first date at a coffee shop or have a favorite place you always go, let’s shoot there! It makes your photos feel personal and nostalgic, plus it’s a fun excuse to grab a latte or cocktail mid-session. Just make sure we check with the staff ahead of time for permission.
This one might surprise you, but using your actual wedding venue for engagement photos is such a sweet way to tie everything together. It’s a chance to explore the space together, get comfy with the setting, and start building memories before the big day.
No matter which location you choose, your engagement session should feel like you two—laughing, loving, and just being yourselves. If you’re not sure which vibe fits best, I’m always happy to help you decide. And hey, if you want to mix and match a couple of spots, we can totally do that too!
Let’s create something beautiful together.
