A Crystal Bridges Wedding in Bentonville
Alexis and Will’s Crystal Bridges wedding was packed with beautiful florals, a mirrored dance floor and aisle, lots of happy guests, and tons of laughter! We spent both Friday night at the rehearsal dinner and Saturday at the wedding with these two lovebirds, and I am not exaggerating when I say ever minute was packed with action.
These two are full of energy and hospitality. Plus, their two French bulldogs are so stinking’ cute! You catch a few sightings of them in their highlight film below. Take a look! And then keep on reading for a sweet interview with our gorgeous bride, Alexis.

My Interview with the Beautiful Bride, Alexis
Leslee: How did you two meet and fall in love?
Alexis: Our love story began during our sophomore year at the University of Arkansas. At that time, I had recently undergone jaw surgery and still sported the swelling and braces that came with it. It was one of those evenings when my friend, who happened to be friends with Will’s roommate, insisted I join her for a night out. Will and I didn’t exchange a single word for most of that evening. However, the turning point came when I spilled red wine all over my white shirt. From that moment on and 7 years later we have been inseparable.

Leslee: What did you love about your venue and your wedding design?
Alexis: Our wedding venue was an absolute dream, and it’s hard to pinpoint a single favorite aspect because, well, we loved everything! The museum’s architectural beauty and the various spaces it offered made us feel like we were transported to different worlds throughout the day. The ceremony and reception spaces, with their expansive windows overlooking the serene pond, created a breathtaking backdrop that added to the magic of our special day.
Leslee: What are some of your favorite memories from your wedding day?
Alexis: If we had to choose our most cherished memory from our wedding day, it would undoubtedly be our first look. We were initially hesitant about doing a first look, but in hindsight, it was the perfect choice for our timeline. It was during that moment that we both felt an overwhelming sense of peace, knowing that the day we had been eagerly anticipating had finally arrived. Additionally, our reception was an absolute blast! Our band delivered an unforgettable performance, and we danced the night away, living out the celebration we had both envisioned for so long.
Leslee: What would you say to couples who are on the fence about wedding videography?
Alexis: To all the couples who are on the fence about hiring a videographer, we have just one piece of advice: Do it! Your wedding day passes in the blink of an eye, and it’s easy to feel like you’ve entered a whirlwind. We had so many incredible moments captured on our wedding video that allowed us to relive the laughter and tears. Your wedding video is a timeless memory you’ll treasure forever. We can’t emphasize enough how special our wedding video is to us, and we owe that entirely to the talented Leslee Layton!
